This statistic includes teen Jordan Tate, who passed away after being hit by a school bus in New Castle, Delaware on January 10th, 2020. Tate and her friends were driving home from school when a school bus carrying elementary students collided with her car. Jordan was pronounced dead at the scene, with her 3 passengers sustaining injuries ranging from non-life threatening to critical condition.
