For National Occupational Therapy Month, Kimmel Carter is honored to highlight the American Occupational Therapy Foundation (AOTF). The AOTF is a charitable, scientific and educational organization founded in 1965.
It serves the public interest by supporting occupational therapy research and increasing public understanding of the important relationship between everyday activities and health. It accomplishes its aims primarily through grants, scholarships, and programs.
AOTF envisions a vibrant science that builds knowledge to support effective, evidence-based occupational therapy. Its main mission is to advance the science of occupational therapy to support people's full participation in meaningful life activities.
As Delaware’s Largest Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation Law Firm, Kimmel Carter is proud to support the AOTF and the work it does to help patients develop, recover, improve, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working.
